Yummy seafood

What sort of crab?

I much prefer mud crab but my sister likes sand more.

$100 doesn't go far with crabs and crays.

Good question! I'd have to ask my mum what she usually gets, I'm pretty sure it's mud crab.
I guess it will depend what prices are like also. My FIL has been catching heaps of Australian Salmon so I've already got a freezer full of fish.

Had a delish meal the other day consisting of mussels, prawns, baby octopus and some Barra...some chilli, garlic and ginger and Nyum Nyum :D

Hate tuna, love fish of any kind?

I have $100 voucher for seafood. I was thinking of getting crab, lobster and sea scallop. Is there any other yummy seafood apart from these worth trying?
Crumbed flathead tails with lemon juice.

Try a clam chowder in a bread bowl as well if you can find anywhere that does them.

And of course; you can't go past salt and pepper calimari.

I used to love calimari. I have great memories of a few beers and fried calamari at a Sunday session at Fisherman's warf.
I see my old friend/neighbour has just started a calamari business. It sounds yum but on the other side of Aus for me now.

After reading some of the menu I think we might dine in and just take the vouchers of the bill. My family eat fish, I might go lobster.
