Zimbabwe bans colour red on TV....

The situation in Zim is truly sad and we just watch it go by. Why doesn't Pres Bush step up and sort this out as well....I guess they don't have enough natural resources to make it worth while....

Why do we ask the US to take charge?

IMHO It's pretty unfair to ask the US to get involved in the internal affairs of countries around the world - then deride them when they actually do it......

The US taxpayer pays for the US military, is it unrealistic for the US to pursue national interests when fighting other peoples' wars with the dollars of it's nationals? :)

IMHO, as Zimbabwe is a Commonwealth country. UK, Australia, India and other nations should be looking at more active engagement in the Zimbabwe discussion.

John Howard's following the lead!

I just received a report that John Howard has banned the word "Labor" and the letters "ALP"

To protect a free and open Australia with no place for terrorism, the words Labor and ALP will now be banned and replaced. The word Labor will be replaced with the word "Disaster" and the letters "ALP" can no longer be used together and must replace with the following graphic
skull_crossbones.jpg
alternatively a picture of the last prime-mister of the Disaster Party smiling can be used.

Labor Day will be renamed "Liberal Day", the department of Labor will be closed and it's employees sent to work in high tech pig farms.

Mark Latham leader of the Disaster Party was placed in protective custody, in a letter smuggled out his protective custody cell, Mr Latham declared this to be the most shameful day in Australian democracy since Goff Whitlam was fired. Prime Mister for Life John Howard said he regretably couldn’t guarantee the safety of Mark Latham unless he was held in protective custody until after the next election. Prime Minister for Life Howard went on to say that after speakingwith President and new Emperor George Bush, that as a special favor he has granted special permission for Mark Latham and his entire shadow cabinet to transferred to Abu Ghurayb health and reflexology resort in cosmopolitan Bagdad. Emperor Bush went on to say that after a few weeks he hopes Mark Latham and his team will take a more relaxed position in regard to foriegn forces in remote areas. :)
