Another great place to advertise it is Gumtree :) Have you thought about buying a really cheap country block and moving the 2 bedder yourself - could be a great weekender for you (or to rent out) ...I love options :)

If the property is vacant I'd say that putting a sign up could attract attention to the property (thiefs etc). Agree the internet is the important place to advertise.

Having a tint put through the coat is inexpensive and with lighter colored boards will take away the "yellow" type of look. Darker boards have the perception of being more expensive, so good to do for that reason too :)

Will you be painting or re wallpapering? Haven't heard of lining paper to fill cracks before but have used multi purpose basecoat and it works a treat ( and yes concur with Pa1nter- it can do 2 houses!)

Athenaa- Agree with all comments above- the builder can not make these changes without your approval. Contact your solicitor and have them request the full documentation to review before you sign anything :)

Such a difficult situation to be in :( Do any of the other upstairs units have laminate flooring? Can you speak to them about what underlay they have used to lessen the noise to the below units? For sanity purposes I'd be paying for the acoustic underlay, the noise factor "for enjoyment" would...
How many of the units are owner occupied? Knock on a few doors and see if anyone can give you information about the last meeting as waiting for Body Corp to get information to you can sometimes take a while :)
Agree with Jamie- Your property, your choice of Agent for PM or for Sales. Your property investing should be run like a business, not a favour to a friend :)
Scan your street for well manicured gardens and see if anyone would like your bushes and branches for mulch :) Also check in with your neighbours, you may find someone has one you could lend :)
