Ariel photography.

Anyone have any idea on how much real estate companies are using ariel photography for their advertising these days?

I see it done a bit for luxury properties (especially if it can show proximity to water), acreage, development sites and some commercial stuff. Don't see it much for run of the mill residential properties though.

Were you referring to any in particular?

Now that they are using drones, one would think much cheaper, however in and around $500.

A lot of agents use it for "development blocks" etc. Hudson Bond is one that comes to mind.

^ There are a few places that have pre-taken "stock" shots of lots of locations too. You can buy these for a fraction of the cost of sending up a balloon or plane.
