Bathroom reno questions

You can buy the hinged bath screens for about $300.

or fixed for $200

You issue will be fixing it but it's not hard. Your tiler may even be able to do it for you. Conversely talk to some of these outlets as they may have a handyman avail that can fit them.

When we fit one frequently there are level issues and my son fits the fixed screen and uses spacer on the bath edge to temporarily support the screen. Then he will silicone the edge along the bath and it's done.

If you use a fully hinged screen there are no issues re the squareness of the bath/tiles.

They are also very easy to fit.

You big issue will be the door so you may be restricted to a fixed panel and trying to ensure that you install bumpers to keep the door handle from touching the glass. By the way doors do flex and even with bumpers installed the deflection in the door may still allow the handle to touch.

The other option is to get a fixed panel at the end of the bath (near the toilet) and then have a rod for the length of the bath with a shower curtain. When we do this we use a very bright (complementary colour) curtain so that it brightens up the whole room.

Cheers

PS some youtubes on how to fit screen
