Cairns Total Solar Eclipse

I headed up to cairns for the total solar eclipse on wednesday.... Got some awesome pics from Holloways Beach! Clouds broke just for totality and this was my second total solar eclipse! If you have never seen totality it should be on your bucket list!

It's on my bucket list.

I should have a total eclipse pass over my farm, or a bit south of, and then over Sydney in 2028.

I have witnessed a total eclipse in canada, years ago.
It really is amazing.

We had a partial eclipse here at the roadhouse in tennant creek. It didn't get dark, but it did darken a bit. We watched it thru a welders mask. We then offered the workers and guests here if they would like to view it. They all did, and enjoyed it very much.

I'm obviously no fun but I chose to sleep during the eclipse. It wasn't enough to get me out of bed, but going fishing is another story.
