Foxtel

Has anyone had foxtel connected to their IP {and paid the monthly bill}? If so, was it a good move and are the monthly fees tax deductable? Thanks.

About 12 months ago when there were lots of vacancies around I was going
to connect FOXTEL on my IP2 as an insentive in finding a tenant quickly.

However, I did find a tenant quickly enough so I gave up on that idea.

I think it could be a good measure as it would make your IP stick out from the
rest and could also be beneficial if you want to keep an existing good tenant.

Yes the fees are tax deductible.

Instead of Foxtel

Ok so the basic service and one movie pack is $60/mth x 12 thats $720.00 in a year.

For 720 you can have a 1.5 split system with a 5 year warranty. Just a thought. Not everyone needs foxtel but everyone wants to be cool.

DDI,
You may well buy the 1.5hp a/c unit for $720.00,but the install price
will be up around $400.00 to $500.00 some times more if its a back
to back system,or off the ground level of the property..a/c does
help up this way in summer..
good luck
willair..

It really depends on your target market.
I would say internet access for new generation
Foxtel for family.
Aircon for the retirees.
