Hi

Has anyone here bought or developed in this area?

Close to Parramatta, has a station, and there is a bit of development going on I notice.

I see old houses on large blocks of land suitable for subdivision are very reaonable.

Thoughts?

I have a townhouse there. Probably a good time to buy at the moment as prices have plummeted in the past few years. My townhouse was valued at 360K 3 years ago and was recently revalued at 300K. Most trains stop there, there is a bus service to Parra and is about 5mins from the M4 entrance to the city so is a pretty central location if Merrylands and Parramatta are too expensive.

I thought as much.. I am looking at developing some land into attached dual occupancies. I reckon prices will start moving forward in the next couple of years. Meanwhile, your rent must be good!!!
