Our bathroom Reno

Hi everyone,

We had a go at renovating our bathroom so I thought I would share some photos. We expected the worst but thankfully didnt run into any dramas.

Surprise Surprise! 2 layers of floor tiles???

The old cast iron bath was even heavier than we thought it would be. It took 4 men to get it out of the house.

The total cost was just over $5000

Plumber -$1200
Tiles $400
Tiler $2200
Spa - Free
Tapware $200
Cabinet $500

We did the pull out on the Sunday and it was ready to use on the Friday. We still have to add a few hundred dollars for paint and a blind for the window.

Hey there,

Looks awesome!

Mind if i asked how much would it cost had u left it all for the contractors to do the job?

Also, was it noticeable when the bathroom had 2 layers of tiles prior to ur reno??
