Greetings all
How does one go about assigning business use and personal use to a mobile phone when it is on a Cap Plan, particularly when there are "free" components?
In detail - previously I have had to use Telstra as they were the only network to cover one of my work locations; but when I discovered Three (the video phone mob)
I promptly switched - better phones, better plans, better rates, same coverage. I am on the $29 Cap plan, and I pay $15 a month for a SE Z800i. The Cap has a minimum spend of $20 per month, then at $29 usage the cap kicks in up to $120 worth of usage, after which the meter starts ticking again.
Also included is $70 worth of free calls to other Three numbers.
If I make $15 worth of business calls and $5 personal, that's easy. But if I also make say, $20 worth of calls to Three numbers - hence zero charge, would this affect the percentage of use?

- now roam with Telstra's GSM network, and
- no longer enforce the "have to live/work in 3 coverage area" to sign up
