Tenant Selection

Howdy,

Just wondering if people consider Private contractors as acceptable applicants.
Current Pay/Financials stack up, and they are by no means extending themselves.
I'm probably being overly picky, but times are uncertain(ish)
I have a number of family members in the civil/Construction industry and all are complaining at the moment.
Best of an average Bunch.

Are you asking if construction/civil contractors make good tenants?

Ask what the best food in the world is. It differs.

I would have thought that people in the army would be disciplined, take care of a place and be good tenants but my PM told me that people from the army can be uber demanding and expect the owners to make improvements. I guarantee not all people from the army are like that though. People will surprise you and you really won't know if they are a good tenant or bad until they move in.

The checks you do before accepting an application are supposed to mitigate this however I had to kick crappy tenants out and was asked by an agent, from a place they were applying, about the tenant. Am I going to say they are a bad tenant and have them stay at my place?
