Brisbane should do better than the rest of SE QLD. But you only have to have a quick browse of the auction listings to see the vendor desperation to sell. Interstate and O/S investor interest has evaporated, and the local OOs who want to move can't sell their existing place. Unless demand picks up dramatically before Xmas the annual cap numbers will be increasingly in the red. Unless you are buying at a big discount now there are MUCH better markets to invest in.
