Strange etrade is missing international stocks when the rebadged directshares has it. AFAIK you can't margin on non ASX stocks but you can get it on managed funds :rolleyes: Some CFD providers would do more outside the box stuff.

Check out who is the top shareholder in ERA then say RIO has no exposure to that ;)

I kept my CGJ longterm when the broker more or less questioned my sanity in buying them to begin with. Sitting on just over a $10 gain each plus dividends along the way. WES is burning me at the moment having had the price rise $7 since I bailed earlier this year. Can't win them all.

I just buy both when I can and hopefuly on small dips. I am still underweight in them so still plenty of SANF left for me in BHP and RIO.

I think share trading basics and property renting should be part of your childrens education too. That is from a childless person though.

Well they did finish at $4.90 still been a good share for me since 31/1/07 up 15.57% and I did trade the dips for a while as well.
