The Doc buries it in a disused mine in the 1880s. Future Doc 1955 (in pt3) recovers it and rebiulds it with the instructions he left himself. Great series.
Right there with you GG, some of the best movies ever! Number 2 is my all time favourite movie. Usually watch the box set once a year.
I've been so tempted in the past, but have never done it - check this page out!
One of my favourites quotes:
Young Biff: Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?
Old Biff: It's *leave*, you idiot! "Make like a tree, and leave." You sound like a damn fool when you say it wrong.
Young Biff: All right then, LEAVE! And take your book with you!
Love the P76. I had a V8 one in the mid 80's. Previously had an XJ6 Jag and I can tell you that the P76 drove and handled better in all respects. It just lacked build quality, especially in the interior.
P76 gets my vote, too, GG!
the P76 was a great car - only branded a lemon because when the service times came around, leyland had quit Australia and you couldn't get parts.
that actually spawned the legislation that car manufacturers have to stock parts for their models for 10 years after the final date of manufacture - WHICH HOLDEN IGNORED WITH THE VT COMMODORE.
