Dummies guide for Domain names for Email

I am very wary of those really cheap, or free, domain solutions. Sometimes, if you host a web site with them, they can put your site in an HTML frame, which can enable them to put popup ads on your site. Evil stuff. Not sure if GoDaddy do this though, just saying.

Only bought the domains through Godaddy……they are parked there until they decide to use them.

Quadra does all our hosting.

Does it matter how you set these things up, as in - the Quadra Hosting set up asks you if you want Unix, Unix 1 or other assortment of operating systems like windows?

It depends on what you want.

If you want just straight forward html, just go for the cheapest unix. If you're asking the question, the chance is that you won't need anything more than the minimum.

I wanted to do something with Active Server Pages (geek talk, it doesn't really matter what that is) so I paid a little more for Windows.
