Replacing Tyres - Prado 4WD

I've been very surprised at how well the tyres on my WRX have lasted. 34,000km and almost 3 years old and they still have plenty of meat on them. If I keep the car beyond February I will probably change them mid next year, even if they aren't 'illegal' by then.

We once had a lady drive in because she could hear a noise under the car, and wanted us to see what it was...all four tyres were dangerous - steel belts flapping on the road...

Man, you should be allowed to declare it unroadworthy/road hazard and have the people in blue impound it.....

It's too easy to make enemies out of this frickin industry as it is.

+1...Even if you passed on the number plates to the boys in blues anonymously, the customer is going to figure out eventually who passed on the details.

Cheers Spades.

Thanks everyone for feedback.

I think he is looking at Dunlop at the moment, he got onto the forum HiE suggested.:)

He does take it off the road as he uses it for fishing trips and for towing the boat.
