Barnett?

So, Colin Barnett is the new Premier.

This is NOT good news for the state. This guy is a moron. I have no problems with the Libs winning, power sharing etc (democracy works like this after all), but Barnett is bad news for the state.

If you thought Carpenter was bad, just give Colin a few months.

We can look forward to water canals from the northwest, icebergs from the antarctic, replacing wind/solar/gas with another coal power station, cutting royalties for overseas companies (Woodside for example) and upping royalty payments for Rio/BHP, etc etc.

This is the guy who physically disrupted parliament by doing star-jumps in the chamber and running around like a tool for 1/2 an hour so that a piece of legislation he didnt like could not be voted on in that session.

This guy is the best the Libs have to offer? Good grief!

i agree though - this man is NOT premier material. the only way they can fund the National's ransom is through uranium mining, just after Fed Labor told India to "forget it, we aint sellin' you nuthin'...".
