Next week, Daneries will take the Unsullied to invade Kings landing, just to rescue Tyrion because she's heard his reputation of being an amazing lover. Of course, she'll be totally blown away by Jamies handsomeness, make Tyrion her page boy and live happily ever after with Jamie, who will realise that his sister is actually a man.

Should I keep going?

Currently reading the Border Trilogy (All The Pretty Horses, The Crossing and Cities of The Plain) by Cormac McCarthy. Just finished Tales of Ordinary Madness by Charles Bukowski.

Also reading a three book bibliography of Teddy Roosevelt and a rather scintillating book about Fixed Income products!

On the shelf I have the following waiting:

- The Iliad and The Odyssey by Homer
- Crime and Punishment and The Idiot by Dostoyevsky
- The Tibetan Book of The Dead
- The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith

Also teaching myself to speed read.
 
I started watching this, but I think its terrible show, can not get into this at all, yet there is such a cult following, I don't get it.... too much porn :eek:

Really? I finally got the first season on hard disk, was about to get cracking on it tonight.

Is it really not worth the time?

I don't find her particularly attractive. I thought the prostitute from the first 2 seasons was quite attractive though.

Reminded me of a girl I took out once. Bit wild, attention span of a fly.

Nah, the porn version is probably something like Game Of Bones or similar?

My wife won't watch the show, she thinks its soft porn
 
I read the book up to 2 episodes down the line and have an idea what's going to happen in the next couple of episodes which kinda spoiled it for me.

I will probably hold on reading a bit so I can enjoy the episodes in 3 weeks time.
