Powerball $70m Jackpot

The odds of winning do NOT change with more tickets sold, its always C[sup]40[/sup][sub]6[/sub] * 20 = 76,767,600 : 1

the odds of sharing the winning prize, change with the number of tickets sold,
but half of 70M is more than 5M regular prize

And dont you wish the buggers would display the numbers on tv lowest-highest, like they are on the tickets, to make them easier to check

A better outcome would have been between 70-280 winners on the major prize pool.

That outcome for 2 @ 35mill is great but all the same not productive imo.

The question should not be "Why didn't I get the big win last night?" but rather, "If I had got the big win last night, would have I still spent today doing what I did?"

If you answer yes to the second question, then the first one becomes much less important.

BTW I did have a small value ticket in the draw. I figured that if I was going to win, the value of the ticket wouldn't have mattered anyway.

If I won $35m, I will definitely spend / invest on property..
A deposit of 20% for 20x 500k property.

But the next question would be my serviceability :rolleyes:

Stay at work until you've acquired them so that you can use your salary for servicing.
Its very simple. 20 80% deals would go through easy.
