How many people search by user name anyway? If they do a text search, they'd get the information they need (and they can do a text search with a user name anyway).

Lot of bother for you Sim, and not much point really....

I disagree actually Jas.

For example, we know that Michael Croft is an expert in renovations, so we want to do a search for some of his great threads in the archives to see what pearls of wisdom he has dropped.

It's exactly that kind of reason why I want to do it.

And like I said, it's fun

(the point of this thread was mostly to see if there were any violent objections to the plan - which there don't seem to be)
