Recs for property in Perth

Being Indian I naturally know a few people who live in canning vale and surrounds, I understand to each their own and all that but building a dream $1.5m or so home in an area like that is insane imo.
I agree. And yet...

I did a field trip out to Southern River and Harrisdale today. They seem very nice, but a bit remote. But how creepy are dormitory suburbs during the day? It was a weird as coming into the office on a weekend when no one is here.
And still...

I guess insane is relative. ;)

What if this happens....

I was just listening the Gavin Hegney last week on radio and he mentioned that they view/value 100 properties per week where it involves marriage break up.... I was gobsmacked....
So I guess a lot would be buying the other partner out? 2/3 partners in my street have.

Happens in plenty of nice suburbs too...

The agent's numbers in the ad look about right to me. Would be lucky to get $3m in this market...

HE
I swear this RE agent keeps getting younger, and what is it with those pearly whites, bet it cost a few bucks:)

Anyway, back to the property, IMO, what a deal, this market is absolutely stuffed, so if you have some $ you just buy a very nice primary residence, seriously good value. What's going on here, why so so cheap???

When is this market going to move??? my guess is a long long time, cos Perth is still suffering... high end anyway....

Nice to get the viewpoint of an investor coming here for the first time miss green eyes

?
It seems Perth is not a good place to invest in. Low cg and low rental returns.
That's just the feeling i got.
The huge swell in syd is what is driving up prices.
More transients for rent and more permanent dwellers for cg.

Scotty's a great agent - he can get on with anyone.

As for when the market is likely to return, I can only agree with you...
