That's a nice chart but they don't have my coffee - Long Macchiato topped up. That's what I like in Perth but I can't order it in Adelide or Melbourne because they make me a different coffee if I order it there. I am guessing the Adelaide/Melbourne equivalent might be a latte with an extra shot. I tried flat white with an extra shot, but that wasn't it. Haha. Just found it:

Ugh! I hate you! For the work fitness challenge we have to eat fruit, veg, legumes and all that healthy stuff. No cakes for me. They look sooo good! Next time I am in Melbs, I am so there.

Chai does mean tea, however most people think of a sickly sweet spiced milky tea when they refer to Chai. So, in that sense, Chai Tea (spiced tea) does make sense, but the latte part does not, since latte refers to a coffee drink made espresso and steamed milk. You end up with "spiced tea milky coffee."

In India, Chai specifically refers to sweet milky brewed filled with delicious spices and black tea. The Indian version of Chai is also called Masala Chai, Spiced Tea or Spiced Chai.

Chai has recently become very popular in Australia. Often when people try Chai in a cafe they are being served a powder or syrup imitation of the real thing. These powder and syrupy versions can taste super sweet and artificial
