Will the Carbon Tax increase property prices

We needed to regas a large ducted office aircon this week.

The service techs we have been using for years suggest that the cost of the refrigerant has tripled .....................

If thats true I hope that not much of your work is Automotive Air con work.

We call in a guy who runs his own mobile air-con/heating business for those jobs.

It'll be interesting to see what happens closer to summer; we haven't used him for a while.

I'll update probably about November when the first heat waves kick in and everyone turns on the aircon they haven't used in months, and find out there's no gas left in it.

So whats the answer?

I've been away and looked back on this thread. Seemed to be a lot of political banter and a little bit of talk of how carbon tax will push up the price of houses, more so new ones. I would think this will trickle through to established houses.
