No matter what they say, or say about me, or to me; it's merely words, and they are anonymous and far away.
Many folks say annoying things; I'm probably the worst here, but eventually everyone offers something useful....even the trolls.

Since going through divorce myself , l will never , ever , put women on some ridiculous pedestal again. They'll have to earn that from me in the future just like men.
And no , that's nothing to do with my divorce , mine was mutual and we've done our best right through to be fair to each other and look after our kids as best we can under these circumstances.
So the reason doesn't come from my sitch but it comes from the horrific things l've learned and heard through all this , about what many women will do , and l'm talking many, these days.
They midlife , they screw around , they tear their family to threads to go sex it up and party like they were 16 again, they talk their friends into leaving a good marriage and family , and they listen to it , they block dads from seeing their kids , they stomp their feet when they don't hear or get what they like . They keep the kids and make up lies and they often get everything the couple ever owned and worked for.

There's also carpet rolled out for women everywhere when they do go for divorce even if she's the one that destroyed the family and for whatever reason, yet there is nothing for men , believe me , no one gives a sh@t except a couple of mens groups that have finally started to try and do something. And up until just a few yrs ago that even went through to the courts , kids , his rights, their property , cash , stuff , it was insane .
And no , it's fact . They more often than not don't go on to remarry where as yes it is fact , the men do . It's also fact that women have a much harder time finding a second marriage and that many men choose to never marry again .

But some men are using it as an excuse to vent their spleen on women. I am not anti-man--the majority are decent people, like the majority of women are decent people. But it seems that the men's rights movement has been hijacked by the women haters. And SS is not the forum to discuss how much someone dislikes the opposite sex--be they a man or a woman.

Yes, I agree with you: there are plenty of ranting feminist sites. The difference is that there are no women gathering information from these 'ranting feminist' sites and publishing it here on SS.
I was tempted, but restrained myself, from bringing to light other things that Reddit and it' community from the manosphere, and gaming, have done. Unlike others, I am not interested in inflaming the situation and using SS as a platform for some dangerous ideas.

Hi CJay, just thought I would quickly step in here and point out a couple of things:
- I've never taken anything from Reddit. In fact, I've been on Reddit maybe half a dozen times. I personally find the site pretty confusing to navigate.
- I am not an MRA, nor involved with the Men's Rights Movement.
- I have been doing research on female on male DV and a few other issues for close to ten years.
- That 20/20 article was supposed to be released alongside a story on 20/20 t.v. show about the Manosphere. The article (which was released on the Friday, whereas the telly version was supposed to be aired on the Sunday) was torn apart in the media to the point where ABC cancelled the story on the Manosphere. If you read the article itself, it comes across as nothing more than a bizarre rant with no actual evidence to back it's claims.

These websites operate under the guise of 'men's rights' and are perfect examples of hate speech. SS members with an agenda, a barrow to push, should have their posts on SS deleted when using the manosphere as a referral source.
